Color: Medium brown, sun fading can cause unprotected wood to turn gray from sun exposure
Advantages: Very easy to work and cut while resisting scratches or dents, very stable when used in flooring, very resistant to rotting and decay due to high oil content, water resistant, sun fading damage can be repaired with gentle sanding and refinishing, this wood can last for generations
Disadvantages: Sun fading can cause wood to turn gray, this discoloration is easily preventable by avoiding contact of unfinished or unprotected wood with direct sunlight
